My family has known Wendy and her family for as long as I can remember. What stands out most are the annual Christmas cards with pictures of Karen, Wendy and the canine corp. I remember returning to my parents home each year to see the new picture card stuck on the refrigerator and seeing how much the girls had grown and changed over the past year.
A bright light in the lives of many has gone out, but another star in the sky will watch out for us all.
