Reading your note reminded me about how I placed my copy of "The Little Prince" on Colin's grave not long after his death. The story talked of a boy who was too special and remarkable to stay in any one place for very long, and that's how I felt about Colin, as hard as it was. Perhaps this is why Wendy had to leave so soon... for some, there are much bigger worlds to explore...
