I've been thinking of Wendy...a friend of mine lost her brother a little over 2 weeks ago, unexpectedly. She set up a Web site for him and asked for suggestions on how to make it better, and I immediately wanted to show her this site - it's been an unbelievable tribute. So I came here tonight for a "quick" visit, and now, oh, a good 45 minutes and a face full of tears later, I realize that so much has changed since I first heard the news 4 years ago. At that point, I was just weeks away from my wedding. Today, I have two precious, beautiful daughters of my own. I cannot even express how they make me feel, and how my heart hurts now just thinking that anyone could lose a child or a sister.
So...I guess nothing much to say. Just wanted you guys to know I was thinking of all of you. Karen, I know we haven't talked in a while. We're actually planning on moving back to Dallas in the spring - maybe you & I can do a CA visit one last time before we go? I promise my dog won't eat your cell phone this time. ;)
