hello everyone,
i come to this website all the time to visit with wendy and everyone's memories. i haven't been able to post anything yet as every time i visit here i get so overwhelmed that i'm never sure what to write. i wanted to share a wendy moment that i was thinking about just the other day on noticing how long my hair has become.
it was at the beginning of our junior year at oxy and i was dealing with a horrid breakup with my first major boyfriend. i was incredibly upset and wendy happened to be in my dorm and stopped by my room (she was so great at that). she whisked me away to target where we shopped for stuffed animals and hair clippers as she was going to sculpt my hair into some bad ass tank girl-esque do. we went to her house and she began messing around with my hair, snip snip here snip snip there, and finally both of us just looked at each other and we shaved all of my hair off. that was wendy's favorite haircut of mine and she was sad when i began to grow it out. i have plans to grow my hair a bit longer and later in the year i'm going to shave all of it off again and send it to cancer patients. i think she would have appreciated that.
i miss you so terribly, wendy, and my thoughts are always with you. i love you wendy bird, so much. i can't wait to see you again.
